The Nam Et-Phou Louey National Park is one of the largest and most biodiverse protected areas in Lao PDR.

Category 2. Managed Species= can be harvested outside of core zone and corridor for a six- month period from November 1st to April 30th.
Species not included in Category 1 or 2 can be harvested outside of the core zone and corridor at any time of the year
